Sid Dillon, a leading Lincoln Ford dealer, would like to offer their customers the brand new 2011 Ford Escape. This vehicle offers a compact structure yet provides a lot of interior space that will make any family happy.
The 2011 Ford Escape offers customers a spacious interior while also keeping a compact structure. The 2011 Escape offers a variety of entertainment, convenience, and safety features that will impress any car buyer and offer the maximum amount of protection in the unfortunate event of a crash. With great financing options and leasing options, Sid Dillon wants to give you the most affordable car possible. Let’s look at what makes the 2011 Ford Escape the perfect vehicle for you.
The 2011 Ford Escape, available at this Lincoln Ford dealer, offers the latest in modern technology. SYNC with Traffic, Directions & Information leverages industry-leading voice-recognition software, integrated GPS technology and drivers’ Bluetooth®-capable mobile phone. SYNC’s new applications provide simple hands-free access to personalized traffic reports, precise turn-by-turn driving directions, and up-to-date information including business listings, news, sports, and weather.
The 2011 Ford Escape offers two tech features especially aimed at helping drivers see more of the road around them. Integrated Blind Spot Mirrors do their best to eliminate a driver’s blind spot. When traffic enters the driver’s blind spot on either side of the vehicle, it is visible in a secondary convex mirror, helping provide a broader peripheral view. The available Rear View Camera System uses an exterior camera embedded in the rear of the vehicle to help enhance visibility directly behind the vehicle when it is in reverse.
To help encourage safe teen driving, the 2011 Escape, available at this Lincoln Ford dealer, also comes standard with the Ford-exclusive MyKey system. Parents simply program the vehicle key through the message center to incorporate features such as a limited top speed of 80 mph, traction control system that limits tire spin cannot be deactivated, audio system volume limited to 44 percent of maximum volume, and a speed alert chime at 45, 55, or 65 mph.
The Ford Escape continues to offer advanced powertrain options that maximize performance and fuel efficiency. Buyers can choose a 171-horsepower, 2.5-liter I-4 engine with Intake Variable Cam Timing (i-VCT) or an available 3.0-liter V-6 that produces 240 horsepower with i-VCT. A five-speed manual transmission is standard with the I-4 engine; I-4 buyers can also opt for the fuel-saving six-speed automatic transmission that’s standard on V-6 models.
Refined aerodynamics and low-rolling-resistance tires also enhance fuel economy while contributing to a quiet, refined cabin environment. The powertrain also incorporates electronic throttle control (ETC). This technology replaces the manual linkage between accelerator and throttle with a control unit that calculates the optimal throttle position from a number of sensors. ETC is a form of state-of-the-art, drive-by-wire technology.
Ford drivers should consider the all-new Ford Escape and all of its technological advancements when they make their next SUV purchase from Sid Dillon. For more information on the 2011 Ford Escape in Lincoln, please call 402-261-0087 and speak to one of our Lincoln Ford specialists.

Nebraska Ford dealer, Sid Dillon Crete, now has a great selection of the new Ford Edge, one of the best looking crossovers on the market today.
The 2011 Ford Edge crossover comes in three trim levels for Nebraska Ford shoppers; SE, SEL, Limited and Sport. The SE comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, full power accessories, air-conditioning, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a six-speaker CD player with an auxiliary audio jack. The SEL features 18-inch wheels, automatic headlights, rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, upgraded cloth upholstery, a six-way power driver seat, satellite radio and a trunk-mounted second-row folding seat release.
Nebraska Ford shoppers will love the top of the line Limited that adds ambient lighting, leather seating, a 10-way power driver seat with memory settings, a power front passenger seat, heated front seats, the MyFord Touch interface, Ford Sync, two USB inputs, a rearview camera and a premium 12-speaker Sony audio system with HD radio. The Edge Sport is equipped similarly to the Limited, although it comes with 22-inch wheels, a sport-tuned suspension and transmission paddle shifters.
Many of the additional features available on the higher trim levels can also be added to lower trim vehicles via optional packages. Available options include (depending on trim level) 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a power lift gate, xenon headlights, adaptive cruise control, keyless ignition/entry, a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system and an SD-card-based navigation system with real-time traffic and Sirius travel link.
The Ford Edge SE, SEL and Limited all come with a powerful 3.5-liter V6 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. EPA fuel economy estimates for the 2011 Ford Edge are at 19 mpg city/27 mpg highway for a front-drive 3.5-liter model.
Upholding Ford’s commitment to safety, antilock disc brakes, stability control (with rollover avoidance logic), front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and blind-spot mirrors are all standard. The programmable and convenient Ford MyKey system also comes standard. Optional on all trims except the SE is a Vision package that includes blind-spot and cross-traffic monitoring systems.
Although the 2011 Ford Edge has not yet been tested, in 2010 government crash tests, the Ford Edge scored five stars (out of five) for the driver and four stars for the passenger in frontal-impact tests and five stars for side-impact testing for both front and rear passengers. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Edge the highest possible rating of “Good” in both frontal-offset and side-impact testing.
Both the look and the feel of the 2011 Edge’s interior are more premium this year thanks to better materials and a high-tech electronics interface dubbed Ford’s MyTouch complementing the existing Sync system. MyTouch features a new touch screen display that operates similarly to the screen of a Smartphone. It also includes additional voice commands, and operates the Edge’s tech features.
Edmunds.com says “The 2011 Ford Edge is now a top choice for a midsize crossover SUV. Quiet, roomy cabin; comfortable ride; innovative technology features; lots of safety equipment.”
Nebraska Ford shoppers can experience the new 2011 Ford Edge at Sid Dillon Crete. For more information, consumers should call the dealership at 866-906-7153 .
