Sid Dillon Ford, one of the top dealers for Nebraska Ford shoppers, is happy to present the 2011 Ford Explorer. This Ford mainstay offers tremendous interior features, smooth handling, and top of the line quality.
Sid Dillon, the top-rated Nebraska Ford dealership, is excited to introduce customers to the updated 2011 Ford Explorer, which features an increased fuel economy.
The 2011 Ford Explorer was officially revealed to the media and public at Boston’s Fenway Park in late in 2010 and Nebraska Ford dealer Sid Dillon has been excited with the results. The new SUV, which includes new features and improved fuel economy, is a one of a kind SUV that offers great fuel efficiency and top of the line features.
“The all-new Explorer will deliver today’s SUV buyers the attributes they really want and value, and a few they might not even have dreamed of,” said Mark Fields, Executive Vice President, Ford Motor Company; President, The Americas. “We’re proud to introduce the new Explorer to customers and fans around the world today and pleased to begin a whole new era that blends strong SUV fuel economy and performance.”
Nebraska Ford Dealers
The designers of the Ford Explorer, now avalaible at our Ford dealer in Nebraska, worked to make the 2011 model the greenest model ever. Nebraska Ford drivers will love knowing that they are driving a car that is not only fuel efficient, but made out of recyclable materials. The SUV is 85 percent recyclable, as the interior was made with bio foam and recycled fabric and exterior parts were made using recycled steel.
Changes in the Explorer make the 2011 model the most fuel efficient vehicle in the midsize SUV segment, which will save Nebraska Ford drivers money at the pump. Ford’s new high-tech powertrains and mechanical enhancements, along with a reduction of nearly 100 pounds, help the 2011 Explorer increase fuel economy.
The new Explorer boasts a choice of two new fuel-efficient engines, a V6 and a turbocharged, direct-injection 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost™ engine. The EcoBoost engine is over 30 percent more fuel efficient than previous V6-powered Explorer models, yet performs to the same high Ford standards. Both engines are paired with a unique six-speed automatic transmission.
“Ford has made tremendous strides, not only in improving fuel economy in the new Explorer, but also in using more environmentally friendly materials,” said Jim Holland, chief nameplate engineer. “By offering better fuel efficiency in an overall greener package, we’re offering our SUV customers an appealing and sustainable product.”
Now is a great time to stop by this top-rated dealer, for the 2011 Ford Explorer for sale in Nebraska. Sid Dillon is proud to offer this great vehicle for affordable pricing. For more information, please call 402-261-0087.

Nebraska Ford dealer, Sid Dillon Crete, now has a great selection of the new Ford Edge, one of the best looking crossovers on the market today.
The 2011 Ford Edge crossover comes in three trim levels for Nebraska Ford shoppers; SE, SEL, Limited and Sport. The SE comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, full power accessories, air-conditioning, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a six-speaker CD player with an auxiliary audio jack. The SEL features 18-inch wheels, automatic headlights, rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, upgraded cloth upholstery, a six-way power driver seat, satellite radio and a trunk-mounted second-row folding seat release.
Nebraska Ford shoppers will love the top of the line Limited that adds ambient lighting, leather seating, a 10-way power driver seat with memory settings, a power front passenger seat, heated front seats, the MyFord Touch interface, Ford Sync, two USB inputs, a rearview camera and a premium 12-speaker Sony audio system with HD radio. The Edge Sport is equipped similarly to the Limited, although it comes with 22-inch wheels, a sport-tuned suspension and transmission paddle shifters.
Many of the additional features available on the higher trim levels can also be added to lower trim vehicles via optional packages. Available options include (depending on trim level) 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a power lift gate, xenon headlights, adaptive cruise control, keyless ignition/entry, a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system and an SD-card-based navigation system with real-time traffic and Sirius travel link.
The Ford Edge SE, SEL and Limited all come with a powerful 3.5-liter V6 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. EPA fuel economy estimates for the 2011 Ford Edge are at 19 mpg city/27 mpg highway for a front-drive 3.5-liter model.
Upholding Ford’s commitment to safety, antilock disc brakes, stability control (with rollover avoidance logic), front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and blind-spot mirrors are all standard. The programmable and convenient Ford MyKey system also comes standard. Optional on all trims except the SE is a Vision package that includes blind-spot and cross-traffic monitoring systems.
Although the 2011 Ford Edge has not yet been tested, in 2010 government crash tests, the Ford Edge scored five stars (out of five) for the driver and four stars for the passenger in frontal-impact tests and five stars for side-impact testing for both front and rear passengers. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Edge the highest possible rating of “Good” in both frontal-offset and side-impact testing.
Both the look and the feel of the 2011 Edge’s interior are more premium this year thanks to better materials and a high-tech electronics interface dubbed Ford’s MyTouch complementing the existing Sync system. MyTouch features a new touch screen display that operates similarly to the screen of a Smartphone. It also includes additional voice commands, and operates the Edge’s tech features.
Edmunds.com says “The 2011 Ford Edge is now a top choice for a midsize crossover SUV. Quiet, roomy cabin; comfortable ride; innovative technology features; lots of safety equipment.”
Nebraska Ford shoppers can experience the new 2011 Ford Edge at Sid Dillon Crete. For more information, consumers should call the dealership at 866-906-7153 .
