The 2011 Ford F-150 line-up will feature four new truck engines that deliver best-in-class fuel economy, power and capability, Sid Dillon of Crete announced .
As one of the leading providers of the Ford F-150 in Nebraska, Sid Dillion is proud to offer the latest news on one of America’s top-selling trucks.
Initially, three engines will be available: a 3.7-liter V6, a 5.0-liter V8 and a version of the 6.2-liter V8 in the 2011 Ford F-Series Super Duty. A 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine will become available early next year.
The F-150′s new powertrain options provide the torque, horsepower, and reliability Nebraska Ford F-150 owners have come to expect, but add fuel economy no other vehicle in the class can match. When the EcoBoost engine is added to the line-up next year, the 2011 F-150 will have up to 20 percent better fuel economy than the 2010 F-150.
The new engines also add a great deal of versatility to the F-150 as well.
“Our new engine lineup allows greater flexibility for customers to select the powertrain choice that best suits their needs,” said Barb Samardzich, vice president of Powertrain Engineering. “We are in the midst of a powertrain revolution, with 30 new powertrains over the next two years, and our loyal F-150 customers are the next ones to benefit.”
As the release of the trucks near, Nebraska Ford F-150 customers can depend on Sid Dillon of Crete for all the latest news and information.
